Fuck Poetry published by Crisis Chronicles Press (CC#7)
I've called it an anthology, a periodical, and other less polite names, but I'm still not sure what it is exactly. I do know, however, what's in it. Fuck Poetry includes 70-some works by 40 poets from across the globe (with probably half of them from northern Ohio). I'm very excited about it! And it is finally available in March 2011 from Crisis Chronicles Press.

I especially appreciate the patience of the contributors, at least one of whom submitted his poems as far back as 2008, when the project was barely a sperm cell in my mind sac. I don't think I'm gonna have it on Tuesday after all. I've run out of ink twice this week - it took far more than I anticipated, since I experimented with a new format for this book - and I have no way to get more until pay day (Friday). At the latest, I should have them done by next weekend.

Thanks! I wish I'd checked this last night -- but I went to bed early feeling sorry for myself. It's much appreciated and will definitely help. Gonna run to Best Buy to get ink as soon as it opens.... Now the question is whether I'll have time for it all to print and be assembled. We'll see....

I didn't have it ready in time for Snoetry because of unforeseen things that came up aroung the home front the week before - but I should almost certainly have it available in time for Lix and Kix, which is Wednesday 17 February. Each contributor will get a free copy.

Fuck Poetry should finally be assembled this weekend, though things at home have taken a lot of my mind and time from it. As a reward for your patience, I'm enclosing an extra surprise (my Identity Crisis chapbook) to everyone who has a copy coming. Also: to contributors who gave up on me sending them a free copy (there are a few) and actually paid for one via PayPal (unnecessary, but understandable and much appreciated) -- and to Chris, whose donation helped me finish and mail the project -- I will be sending some bonus poetry as a token of my appreciation.
